Vol State uses Merit Pages to publicize our student accomplishments.

The Sophomore Expedition is a guaranteed study abroad program. In the spring semester of their sophomore year, students participate in a series of classes to prepare them for the trip. Then they spend 8-10 days traveling as a class to an international destination where they participate in a number of service activites.

More than 3,000 new and transfer students began their higher education at Hudson Valley Community College when the fall semester began on Monday, Aug. 27.

Artwork by SUNY Oneonta recent graduates is featured in a new exhibition in the college's Project Space Gallery. "Student Recipient Exhibition, Jean Parish Memorial Scholarship 2017-2018" opened Sept. 10 and runs through Oct. 5.

This award is presented to graduating School of Business students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and/or otherwise contributed significantly to the School and/or University.

More than 380 students were eligible to participate in commencement ceremonies at Coastal Carolina University on Aug. 3, 2018. English professor Jen E. Boyle, Ph.D., was the commencement speaker.

Clarkson University awarded nearly 800 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees to students from 34 states, 26 countries and 60 New York state counties, this spring. (An additional 275 students received degrees this past winter and summer.)

A total of 222 SUNY Oneonta students earned Provost's List honors for the spring 2018 semester. To qualify for the Provost's List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

SUNY Canton recognizes 2018 graduates.

The University of Scranton announced more than 1,650 students were named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2018 spring semester.

Monroe College, a national leader in educating urban and international students, held its 85th Annual Commencement on June 13, 2018 at Radio City Music Hall in midtown Manhattan. Benjamin Tucker, the First Deputy Commissioner of the New York Police Department, and Marcos Crespo, a member of the New York State Assembly, gave the keynote addresses. Two separate ceremonies were held to accommodate the families and friends of the 2,600 students earning Associate, Bachelor's or Master's degrees and professional certificates.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Morrisville State College recently announced the students who were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve an average of 3.0 to 3.99 for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.

Students recently completed the requirements for graduation from their academic degree or certificate programs at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. The college's Class of 2018, which includes students who completed their degree requirements in Fall 2017, includes students from around the Capital Region and around the globe, graduating from more than 80 degree or certificate programs.
